How We Pack Your Laptop
Besides ensuring to use the right box to ship your laptop, we do the these below to safely ship your laptop to the destination:
- Clean your laptop to remove all the dust and moisture.
- Repeatedly check your laptop is shut and don’t try removing the battery from your device.
- Guard your laptop’s volume and power buttons with a small patch of electrical/cardboard tape so the machine suddenly doesn’t get switched off in transit. For added protection, place thin bubble wrap/foam between the screen and keyboard to protect them when your laptop is closed.
- Wrap the machine shell with bubble/plastic wrap.
- Wrap plug adaptors, cables, and other accessories separately in bubble wrap and use cable ties to secure them.
- Use a snug-fitted plastic bag to carry your laptop to protect it against static electricity risks.
- Carry your device in a padded laptop box and fill extra space with packaging materials, like foam inserts, to keep the machine secure from external attacks. We avoid loose packaged materials as they aren’t that effective in preventing the laptop from any accident, and add all accessories to the box.
- Lightly shake the box to confirm it’s securely packaged without internal sliding.
- Close and tightly seal the box with tape if there is no sliding to prevent moisture from getting inside.
